Thanks to the Reglus chuck's
extremely slim design, fast,
precise drilling is now possible
even where space is extremely
restricted. Enormously increased
tool rigidity means even tiny drill
bits down to 0.3 mm Ø can be
used without a reinforced shaft
and, from about 1 mm Ø can
even be used in hand drills.
Drilling in thin-walled materials
like sheet metal is child's play.

Together, the slim-line Reglus chuck and its tough, integrated collet are the perfect system.
Thanks to the ultra slim design of the chuck, it can be used even in applications where space is very restricted.
With the Reglus collet, operators can use the short-clamping method: i.e. the drill can be
clamped at the depth of the hole to be drilled.
The drill is clamped at a point that is just sufficient to give the desired drill depth and to enable
chips to escape. This is achieved by clamping not only the drill shaft but also the margins.
Short-clamping makes tool guidance tighter and more precise. It facilitates more accurate drilling (because the bit runs truer), higher efficiency and more or less eliminates costly drill bit breakage.
Even extremely thin drills can be used safely without a reinforced shaft.
